It seems like we don’t stop over here at Bertino Designs, and that’s fine with us because we love building custom websites. We recently finished up a project for Mickey Cohen, of Cohen Motorsports in Anaheim. Mickey has quite the reputation when it comes to Motorsports, and we were really excited to work with him. His quality of work is astounding, and that’s why he’s built custom bikes for celebrities like Shaq and Ryan Reynolds. Mickey gave us a lot of free reign with the website design, so we put on our creative hats and got to work.
We kept the color scheme simple, using black and yellow as the two dominant colors, along with shades of gray. The hompage utilizes a jQuery image slider to show not only pictures of the celebrity bikes that Mickey has built, but also to show what services he offers in his everyday business. In the top right corner of each page we also implemented a jQuery news ticker which contains recent updates about Mickey and his shop in Anaheim.
The footer on every page contains a lot of valuable links and information, efficiently placed in a small, easy to use area. Along with the logos of the companies he works with we also included links to his various services, a link to his DynoJet Certification page, and also some of the awards that he has won that when clicked are displayed in a nice jQuery lightbox.
Mickey wanted to include a lot of pictures with his website to showcase his work. We had over two hundred pictures, so we broke them down into several different categories. By solving the problem in this manner we were able to create a very nice presentation while keeping loading times to a minimum.
One of the most important aspects of a website is a solid contact page. We kept this page clean and simple to make it as user friendly as possible. We included Cohen Motorsport’s contact information, an email form, and we embedded an interactive Google map.

Hello,
I’d like to obtain a quote for a site design similar to http://www.loveclients.com.
The design must be very similar, though not exactly the same, as we will be connecting to their API, to resell their partner program. It is important that the website sends the same type of selling messages, but doesn’t look like an exact copy and connects flawlessly with the API for client service, so that customers can not tell that loveclients is actually providing the service.
I will also need a domain name and a logo?
